Times of Refreshing - Saturday 13th 2024.
As we approach the end of this consecration week, let us earnestly seek God’s presence to renew and refresh us. His word assures us of times of refreshing when we repent and turn to Him, and we stand on this promise today. (Acts 3:19-21) Consecration (which means setting apart) requires that we examine ourselves in repentance, set ourselves apart for God from that which easily ensnares us and trust God for refreshment and renewal.
Today, let us pray along the following;
- Repentance and Turning away from any sins or shortcomings that have hindered our relationship with God and that He may grant us strength to completely turn away from every path leading us away from Him.
- Thanksgiving for the promise of blotting out our sins through repentance and conversion.
- A fresh filling of the Holy Spirit and refreshing as we wholly surrender to His leadership.
- Renewal of Strength and Energy: Where vigour may have been lost, let us trust God for a renewal of strength as we step into this year. That God will grant us the ability to mount us up with wings as eagles, to run without growing weary and to walk without fainting.
May none of us burnout this year but let Isaih 40:31 be our reality.
