Prayer for our Nation - Thursday 29 June 2023

Jeremiah 29: 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.
Our country is in ‘captivity’ of many things, debt, employment, corruption, cattle rustling and ethnic intolerance. Let’s call on the Lord to hear us
- we pray that roots out the monster of corruption from our land
- we ask for Godly leadership over our nation, may he turn the hearts of our leaders to righteousness and justice; Prov. 21:1
- we trust God for employment and source of livelihood for those who lack
- we pray for prosperity in our nation; agriculture, tourism, fishery, dairy…. May plenty be found within our borders
- we pray for peace and unity in our country, free from tribalism and violence
